Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
